Descripción

The Global Brain Consortium (GBC ) (https: // globalbrainconsortium.org ) was created in response to the problems identified in the 2016 meeting of the International Brain Projects with the World Health Organization. A gap exists between the well-funded and past-paced advance of neuroscience research in High-Income Countries and its impact on the Global Burden of Brain Disorders in disadvantaged populations worldwide. The GBC is facilitating the reduction of this gap by organizing multinational projects based on the principle of open science. Work proceeds on several fronts: theoretical Neurophysics collection and sharing of international databases of raw and processed neural data and brain disorders. A summary of some results will be presented in the neurosciences sessions of this workshop from the use of random differential equation to model neural masses to the machine learning identification of brain dysfunction.
