The present work is based on the studies carried out by professors and
researchers belonging to the Biomathematics Group of the Faculty of
Mathematics and Computing of the University of Havana, to solve problems of parameter estimation in epidemiological models based on systems of Ordinary Differential Equations (ODEs). This proposal solves the problem of designing and implementing a dynamic computational tool that automates the numerical experimentation process, for this, software was implemented: Eagle, which focuses on the numerical resolution of epidemiological model prototypes and on the estimation of their parameters. Eagle has different alternatives of numerical methods for its solution, and classical and metaheuristic methods to solve the optimization problem, with the user having the opportunity to choose their choice.
