This is a memorial praise poem rooted in the West African praise tradition, adapted by Afro Descendants in the Americas honoring the life legacy and enduring resilience of Commandante Fidel Castro. It was originally prepared for a NY Memorial Tribute to Fidel back in the Winter of 201 just after his passing.
