Descripción

Having been a member of the CSA since 1993, I am licensed to comment of its impact, actual and potential in several spatial realms. This presentation examines the role of the CSA as a Circum-Caribbean organ bringing new meaning that embraces decolonial thought and illuminates global justice geared towards re-positioning peoples and institutions to on the global stage, second to none. The presentation also touches on unique territorial spaces where the CSA aroused my social imagination to champion development process. Finally, I discuss my own scholarly and professional growth resulting from my lifetime sojourn as a member of the CSA and my scholarly and practitioner roles in practicing what I preach.
