En el contexto de la Convención Científica Internacional Universidad de La Habana 2025, que se realizará entre el 26–30 de mayo de 2025, el Instituto Superior de Tecnologías y Ciencias Aplicadas (InSTEC) de la Universidad de La Habana, Cuba, convoca a todos los interesados a participar en el II Simposio de Gestión Ambiental para el Desarrollo Sostenible.

La Convención se desarrollará a través de congresos, simposios, talleres, coloquios, seminarios, conferencias y paneles, que devendrán excelentes espacios para el debate y actualización del papel protagónico de la ciencia y la innovación en el universo académico de hoy. Se impartirán Conferencias Magistrales por distinguidas personalidades que serán de interés para la comunidad de especialistas en los temas de la Convención.
TEMÁTICAS DEL SIMPOSIO
- Diseño e implementación de sistemas de gestión ambiental.
- Monitoreo de parámetros de calidad ambiental y de contaminantes en sistemas naturales y antrópicos.
- Evaluación de riesgo y vulnerabilidad ambiental, tecnológica o sanitaria. Tratamiento y aprovechamiento de residuales, potabilización de agua y remediación ambiental.
- Modelos y herramientas informáticas para la gestión ambiental.
- Gestión ambiental de recursos naturales y biodiversidad.
- Gestión ambiental y fuentes renovables de energía.
- Evaluación económica ambiental.
NORMAS DE PRESENTACIÓN Y PUBLICACIÓN DE LOS TRABAJOS
- Los idiomas oficiales de la Convención son español e inglés.
- Los resúmenes se subirán al sitio web del evento durante la inscripción, en formato word, en párrafo único con no más de 250 palabras, excluyendo título y afiliación.
- Título: en letras negritas.
- Autores: nombre y apellido, subrayar el autor que presenta el trabajo.
- Referir correo electrónico del presentador y la afiliación de todos los autores con número en superíndice después del nombre y poner cada institución de procedencia debajo.
- Estructura del resumen: antecedentes, objetivos, resultados y conclusiones.

In the context of the International Cientific Convention University of Havana 2025 to be held from May 26th to 30th 2025.

The Convention will be held through congresses, symposiums, workshops, colloquiums, seminars, conferences and panels, which will become excellent spaces for debate and updating of the leading role of science and innovation in today's academic universe. Master Lectures will be given by distinguished personalities that will be of interest to the community of specialists in the topics of the Convention.
THEMES OF THE SYMPOSIUM
- Design and implementation of environmental management systems.
- Monitoring of environmental quality parameters and pollutants in natural and anthropic systems.
- Assessment of environmental, technological or health risk and vulnerability. Treatment and use of wastes, water purification and environmental remediation.
- Computer models and tools for environmental management.
- Environmental management of natural resources and biodiversity.
- Environmental management and renewable energy sources.
- Environmental economic evaluation.
RULES FOR PRESENTATION AND PUBLICATION OF WORKS
- The official languages of the Convention are Spanish and English.
- Abstracts will be uploaded to the event website during registration, in word format, in a single paragraph with no more than 250 words, excluding title and affiliation.
- Title: in bold letters.
- Authors: name and surname, underline the author presenting the work.
- Refer to the presenter's email and the affiliation of all authors with a superscript number after the name and put each institution of origin below.
- Structure of the abstract: background, objectives, results and conclusions.
