The first Symposium on Open Science in Cuba 2023 seeks to identify what has been done, what we can effectively do from universities to open Science and how we can contribute to generalize its practice in the country.
The symposium provides a forum for researchers, academics, scientific publishers, librarians, infrastructure providers and developers, science policy makers and other important stakeholders in the debate on Open Science and its impact on the academic sector.
Publication Opportunities
- A Book of Abstracts Conference Proceedings will be published by the Havana University Publisher.
- Selected papers might be considered for a revised and extended version to be published in a range of academic indexed journals, including Encontros Bibli and the Iberoamerican Journal of Science Measurement and Communication.
